It's a whole new Chase Rice... Album. And we are here for it!

Fort Nash got to sit down with Chase Rice to hear about his new album, Go Down Singin'. Not only did we notice that the music was different this time around, but the man himself had changed as well. Chase seemed to have a peace about him and a resounding confidence in both himself and the music on this album.
Chase Rice recently parted ways with his label, BBR Music Group, and although he mentioned that "there is no bad blood there," we couldn't help but notice that he seems freer since the split.
Referring to this album, Chase admits, "This was a huge healing process for losing my dad and losing my label." You’ll see imagery throughout this album cycle that pays homage to his late father, who was a great influence on Rice's life and music.
This is his first album as an independent artist, and the music reflects a course correction to his authentic country sound. This time around, you won’t find a poppy, bro-country song like his massive hit with Florida Georgia Line, "Cruise."
On this 11 track album, Chase once again worked with producer, Oscar Charles (Boy Named Banjo, Madeline Edwards, Elvie Shane) to hon in on that sound and deliver a collection of songs genuine to Chase. He also collaborated with three-time GRAMMY winner Lori McKenna, who is featured on the album.
All songs are cowritten by Chase Rice himself. "I'm just in love with the music," he recalls, and this love is apparent in both the lyrics and the way he talks about the songs.
When asked what he thought his dad would say about this album compared to his previous ones, he said, "I think he would be proud."
We think so too, Chase! Go give Go Down Singin' a listen and let us know your favorite tracks...
