The video depicts a woman portraying her mother raising her throughout the years, as Alaina watches and reflects on her childhood. In a touching twist, the video concludes with Alaina revealing her baby bump, making it an unforgettable moment for fans.

“It’s all about the women who raised me,” Alaina told PEOPLE. “I was really fortunate to be surrounded by a bunch of very strong women. And when we recorded this song, I was not pregnant nor thinking about becoming pregnant. It’s funny how things fell into place.”

The couple has not shared a due date or the baby’s gender just yet, but they revealed that the little one’s name will honor a family member. 

After the heartbreaking loss of Alaina’s father in July, this unexpected gift has been a bright spot, bringing joy back to her family.

“I do think that my dad passed away and got up in heaven and was like, 'Hey, we got to work something out down there to send the family something good.' And it has been such an unexpected blessing,” Alaina shared with PEOPLE. “We obviously still talk about and are dealing with the grief of my dad, but this baby has healed a lot of that for us ... like it's a little piece of my dad that will live on.”

Knowing they wanted to start a family, Alaina and Cam planned to have a baby in 2025, but they didn’t quite expect it to happen this soon. From the beginning, Alaina admitted that she admired Cam’s qualities, which would later serve them well as parents.

“My love for him grew that day of our wedding, and then when we learned we were expecting a baby together. Going through this journey with him has been an incredible experience,” Alaina said. “I’m excited to watch my husband become a dad. He’s so devoted to our animals, and he’s naturally a nurturer. Honestly, I knew that being able to raise a family with him would be one of the greatest joys of being his wife.”

"[I didn't know] I can love something that I haven't even really held yet,” Alaina shared with PEOPLE.  “I feel the baby inside me, and it's kicking me and doing all of the things. It's like I was the Grinch or something, and my heart grew."
